The Research Group on Law and Justice (GIDYJ) deeply regrets the death of Bartolomé "Pipo" Clavero, Emeritus Professor of History of Law at Universidad de Sevilla, who will always be remembered for his human qualities, academic excellence and integrity.

Pipo Clavero has been one of the most outstanding specialists in the historiography of Spanish Law in recent decades and an intellectual and academic reference who collaborated both in the initiatives of the GIDYJ and in those of the Inter-University Programme on the Culture of Lawfulness, in which he took part in some of its research projects, intervened in several of its academic events and enriched us with his writings.

For our Research Group, his death is sad and regrettable news, it leaves us with a great void and we wish to commemorate his name and his reflective proposals, remembering his publications in Eunomía. Revista en Cultura de la Legalidad.
