Within the framework of the YUFE Postdoc programme, a joint call for seven three-year postdoctoral positions was launched in autumn 2020, resulting in the selection of the first six YUFE postdoctoral positions at six YUFE institutions. One of them will shortly be joined UC3M, in the department of Social Cc., under the supervision of Prof. Juan Diez Medrano. 

After the success of this first round, it has just published on our website the 2nd YUFE Postdoc Call – 3 years, which offers 8 places in 8 universities of the YUFE alliance.

The program is aimed at researchers in Health Sciences, Information Sciences, Social Sciences, Humanities, Life Sciences and/or any other relevant field related to the central theme of Citizens' Wellbeing. A minimum seniority is not required in the title of doctor, although there is a maximum permitted (3 years from the defense of the Phd). The candidates might have any nationality and the CV is required to meet certain internationalization parameters.

The Postdoc Program contemplates that each researcher is supervised by at least two professors: one at the contract university and another at the university where he will develop part of his research. Mentors should support the implementation of the proposed research project and mobility plan. They also guarantee the integration of postdocs into research groups and access to the academic infrastructure of the respective institutions.  Candidates for this vacancy should contact potential mentors and faculty members to support their application, asking for confirmation letters attesting to the mentors' commitment.
