> About GIDYJ

The Research Group on Law and Justice (GIDYJ) began its activities in 2004 and was formally established at Carlos III University of Madrid in 2005.

The group's lines of work are characterized by their avant-garde nature, interdisciplinarity, the articulation of the theoretical dimension with practice, and international projection. Among them, the following stand out:

...
Culture of Lawfulness

Integrity. Honesty. Trust. Transparency. Accountability and Fighting Corruption

...
Democracy and Good Governance

Democracy. Governance. Globalization. Ecology

...
Identity and Citizenship

Law and culture. Minorities. Gender. Civil society. Memory. Human rights

...
Crisis of Legal Formalism

Legal pluralism. Anti-formalism in law. Legal ethics, methodology, and sociology

Alongside the execution of collective research projects and the thematic and methodological articulation of its members' individual research, GIDYJ develops a broad program of academic activities and maintains various stable spaces for the generation and dissemination of knowledge.

Meet the researchers who are part of GIDYJ.
