Corruption is repeatedly valued by Spanish public opinion as one of the country's main problems. According to the CIS and the Eurobarometers, it consistently occupies a prominent position as one of the essential problems of our society. Indeed, its effects are devastating both politically and economically, and its consequences are generating serious dynamics of citizen disaffection and uncivic and dissolving inertia.

III International Seminar on Transparency and Good Governance
On May 17, 2018, the III International Seminar on Transparency and Good Governance "Corruption and Human Trafficking: Links and Challenges" will be held at the University Carlos III of Madrid. In this way, the Research Group on Law and Justice aims to consolidate one of the lines of research on which this International Seminar pivots: the links between transparency, good governance and the fight against corruption and human rights from the perspective of international law.
