On Thursday, November 19, 2020, Eleanor Benz (University of Potsdam) will present the paper Political implications of the advisory role of the IACHR. Is it possible to formulate functional criteria for the rejection of a request of an Advisory Opinion? for further discussion with attendees.

Eleanor Benz is a Predoctoral Researcher at the University of Potsdam (Germany); She has a law degree from the University of Heidelberg, with studies at the University of Chile. She worked as a student assistant at the Max Planck Institute from 2013 to 2017. Currently, as part of her doctoral thesis, her research focuses on the advisory function of the IACHR..

About the Law & Justice Workshop (TDJ)
