Tomás Arias Castillo defends his doctoral thesis and achieves the highest qualification

Tomás Arias Castillo, associate researcher at GIDYJ, achieves the highest grade Sobresaliente cum laude in the defense of his doctoral thesis.

His work is entitled "La Teoría Jurídica Liberal y el Debate sobre el Estado Administrativo" (Liberal Legal Theory and the Debate on the Administrative State) and was carried out in the Doctoral Program in Law at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid under the direction of Dr. José M. Sauca Cano.

The panel was composed of:

  • President: Tomás de la Quadra-Salcedo. Professor of Administrative Law at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
  • Members: Isabel Lifante. Professor of Philosophy of Law at the University of Alicante.
  • Secretary: Mariano C. Melero. Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid.
