International Symposium — Rediscovering the Myth of Medusa

We are pleased to announce the opening of the call for paper proposals for the International Symposium Rediscovering the Myth of Medusa: Intersections between Gender, Culture, and Law, which will be held from June 3 to 5, 2026 at the Puerta de Toledo Campus of Universidad Carlos III de Madrid.
Purpose and Objectives
The symposium is conceived as an academic space for critical reflection, aimed at fostering dialogue between Law, the Humanities, and Culture from a gender and intersectional perspective. Its purpose is to bring together young researchers, promote intergenerational and interdisciplinary networks, and create spaces where legal disciplines can draw on art, literature, and philosophy.
How to Submit a Paper
Interested participants should complete the registration form, providing basic information, the title, and a summary of the proposal (max. 200 words).
Deadline for submissions: January 14, 2026.
