The use of the idea of democracy as the rule of law for the neutralization of political issues

On Tuesday, March 3, 2020, Pedro Abellán Artacho (Complutense University of Madrid) will present the paper The use of the idea of democracy as the rule of law for the neutralization of political issues for further discussion with attendees.

Pedro Abellán Artacho has a PhD in Political Science from the Complutense University of Madrid, specialized in Political Theory (theory of democracy and discourse analysis). He has been professor and researcher in practices (FPU) at the Complutense University, carrying out several international research stays during this period. He is currently an honorary collaborator at that university, in addition to being a tutor at the UNED.


About the Law & Justice Workshop (TDJ)

The TDJ is a space for discussion on issues of legal and political philosophy where young researchers participate with the aim of sharing their doctoral and postdoctoral research and getting used to the interaction of academic activity.

The invitation to submit works is not limited to members of the community of the University Carlos III of Madrid, but extends to any researcher, regardless of where they came from. Anyone interested in participating and receiving information about the TDJ can join the distribution list by sending an email to derechoyjusticia@uc3m.es.

Prior to the session, a paper for discussion will be distributed to attendees.
