The rights of nature in the high courts of Ecuador and India: indigenous peoples and sacred animals

On Monday, July 22, 2019, Adriana Rodríguez (Andean University "Simon Bolivar" Ecuador) will present the paper The rights of nature in the high courts of Ecuador and India: indigenous peoples and sacred animals for further discussion with attendees.

Adriana Rodríguez is a lawyer of the courts and tribunals of the Republic of Ecuador, University of Guayaquil; Master in Human Rights, National University la Plata; PhD in International Law, University of Buenos Aires.


About the Law & Justice Workshop (TDJ)

The TDJ is a space for discussion on issues of legal and political philosophy where young researchers participate with the aim of sharing their doctoral and postdoctoral research and getting used to the interaction of academic activity.

The invitation to submit works is not limited to members of the community of the University Carlos III of Madrid, but extends to any researcher, regardless of where they came from. Prior to the session, a paper for discussion will be distributed to attendees.
