Integrity is a core concept in the shaping of the culture of legality that requires greater attention from academia and relevant social agents. The idea of integrity alludes both to relative principles such as impartiality, neutrality, objectivity and absence of arbitrariness in the functioning of public institutions and to the moral virtues alluded to by the terms of decency, honesty, trustworthiness, exemplarity or loyalty in the development of the activity of the agents of civil society and which are complemented by other operational dimensions such as efficiency, reasonableness or responsibility. Perhaps, the idea of integrity can be synthesized as the normative core of Good Governance proposals. This seminar addresses these issues, trying to emphasize two complementary approaches: interdisciplinarity and theoretical-practical transfer articulation. In the first sense, an attempt is made to articulate the philosophical-political viewpoints with the legal, political and administrative ones. In the second, it calls for dialogue between academics and institutional decision-makers in the execution of public integrity.
