93º TDJ: «Democratizing Discourses in Authoritarian Contexts. The Resistance of Institutions to the Decentralization of Power»

On Monday, April 29, 2024, Ana Catalina Arango (Universidad de Antioquia) will participate in the 93rd session of the TDJ workshop to present the paper: "Democratizing Discourses in Authoritarian Contexts. The Resistance of Institutions to the Decentralization of Power".

Ana Catalina Arango is a full-time professor at the Universidad de Antioquia and holds a PhD in Law from the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, specializing in Constitutional Theory. She completed her Master's in Public Law (2011) at the Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Specialization in Constitutional and Parliamentary Law (2009) at the Universidad Externado de Colombia in agreement with the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, and a Bachelor's Degree in Law (2007) at the Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana de Medellín. Her research focuses on the study of the mutations that the presidential system in Colombia has undergone and the effects these have had on different aspects of democracy.
