Mariano C. Melero de la Torre is Professor of Philosophy of Law at the Autonomous University of Madrid. Previously, he served as Professor of Political Theory at Carlos III University of Madrid. He holds a PhD in Philosophy from UNED (2005) and a PhD in Law from Carlos III University of Madrid (2017). He has been a visiting researcher at the Universities of Auckland (2011), Toronto (2012), and Bristol (2016). His research has been published in journals such as Ratio Juris, Isonomía, Doxa, and Global Constitutionalism, among others. He is also the author of two books. He is currently involved in two research projects: one on emerging political rights and another on ecological justice and new vulnerabilities.
